Who is responsible

Data we use

Account details include your name, email, authentication records and, when you choose Google or Apple, the profile information needed to sign you in. We also process your saved places, categories, notes, Lists and visits. Optional device location supports nearby searches, distance sorting and the Map. We process technical security logs and aggregated service-consumption metrics. When subscriptions are enabled, we keep store purchase references and subscription status; we do not receive your payment-card details.

Purposes and legal bases

Account access, synchronization and requested features are processed to provide the service and perform the contract. Optional location is used after you choose the relevant function and grant permission; you can withdraw permission in device settings without losing access to manual entry. Service security and abuse prevention rely on legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. Records required by law are processed to meet legal obligations. We do not use your personal notes for advertising.

Services and recipients

Authorized hosting, maintenance and email providers process data needed to operate the service. Google provides place searches and Android maps; Apple provides iOS maps, Apple sign-in when active, and App Store services. Google Play and Apple handle store payments under their own conditions and privacy notices. Search text and location may be transmitted to the backend and Google; a location permission is not a promise that processing remains only on your device.

International processing

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Applicable safeguards may include adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses, as set out in the relevant provider terms. Contact support@plazigo.app for details of the service’s providers and safeguards.

Retention and deletion

Account content is kept while the account is active. Deleting your account removes its identity and personal content from active Plazigo databases and revokes app sessions. Public place records shared with other users are retained without your personal associations. Apple revocation credentials are encrypted, used only to revoke access and removed when revocation succeeds. Security records and any legally required records are limited to the relevant purpose. Restricted backups expire through their retention cycle and are not used to continue serving a deleted account; a recovery must respect previous erasure requests.

Your device and choices

Copies of saved content are stored on your device for offline viewing. The device performing deletion clears its account cache; other devices must reconnect to learn that access has been revoked. You can also remove local copies by clearing app data or uninstalling. Necessary website session/security cookies and local app preferences support the requested service. The examined app has no behavioral advertising or marketing analytics implementation.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object where applicable. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Write to support@plazigo.app; we may verify your identity and respond within the applicable legal deadlines, normally one month. You may complain to the Italian Garante or the competent supervisory authority where you live. We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Account details are needed for account-based features; optional location is not required to save places manually.
